Job Title: Coordinator of Training & Workforce Development
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Coordinator of Training & Workforce Development to support our strategic initiatives and workforce development efforts across the supply chain and logistics technology industries. This role requires an individual who excels at classroom instruction, multi-tasking, coordinating diverse projects, and aligning various organizational resources. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership, internal teams, and external partners to drive the success of the organization’s training and workforce development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the company’s existing workforce development initiatives, including identifying opportunities for growth, business development, and cultivating new workforce development programs and partnerships.
- Support the company’s workforce development efforts by identifying new and expanded opportunities for training, upskilling, and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Teach and instruct the Supply Chain & Logistics Technology certification curriculum.
- Assist in planning and executing workshops, training sessions, and networking events aimed at supply chain management, logistics technology and information systems.
- Coordinate logistics, marketing, and outreach for events.
- Develop and manage performance tracking systems for programs and partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with local, regional, and national market opportunities.
- Manage and monitor project and program timelines, ensuring deliverables are met within budget and on time.
- Collaborate with team members to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including the number of new contracts secured, students enrolled in training programs, and new partnerships established.
- Recommend and plan strategies to capitalize on opportunities and address challenges, including workforce needs and potential areas for partnership or development.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the organization’s programs.
- Propose solutions for more efficient coordination of programs, better alignment of resources, and stronger outcomes for clients and partners.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend events, and support project execution.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or associates degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Public Administration, Adult Education, Workforce Development, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in classroom instruction, program or project management, ideally across multiple industries. OR, 5-7 years of related work in supply chain or logistics.
- Strong organizational, communication, technology, and multitasking skills.
- Great computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access or other DBM tool, AI, Graphic Design
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and coordinating strategic initiatives, particularly in training and workforce development.
- Multilingual preferred but not required.
- Ability to travel as needed for the role.
